Merchandise

Official YQX Running Club and commemorative race merchandise is available until April 18 (midnight). http://www.yqxrc.ca

Race Rules & Guidelines

• Walkers welcome in the 5K (must finish within 1 hour 15 minutes)

• Time limits:

  • Full & Half Marathon: 6 hours

  • 5K: 1 hour 15 minutes

• Minimum age:

  • Full: 18 (by Dec 31, 2026)

  • Half: 16 (by Dec 31, 2026)

• No headphones/earbuds (per NLAA safety rules)

Course & Race Day Info

• Start Line: Gander International Airport runway

• Finish Line: Gander Track & Field (limited parking)

• Course: Net downhill, fully marked and supported with marshals

• Transportation: Free shuttle service to/from start and finish, including bag drop

  
  

Race Day Details

• Arrive at least 30 minutes early

• Gun time is official (chip times also recorded)

• Medical support and water stations available

• Expect cool, variable weather (typically 2–12°C in May)

  
  

Spectator Info

• Spectators are welcome along the course and at the finish line standing areas outside track fence or bleachers

• Finish line photos will be available
